Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking is the shortest and easiest route to Poon hill which lies at the elevation of 3210m at the foot hills of the Annapurna massif in the Annapurna region. Poon hill lies just 400m above the Ghorepani and is perfect view point of the Annapurna region. This trekking is considered the best trip to view the magnificent views of the mountains of the Annapurna region. It offers the brilliant views of the giant peaks such as Annapurna, the holy mountain Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Annapurna south, Hiunchuli, Lamjung Himal etc. From Poon Hill you can view sun set and sun rise over the Himalayan range. The gorgeous landscapes, green vegetation, the rhododendron forest, different flora and fauna of the region provide you the lifetime memory. Trip Itinerary

Arrival in Kathmandu TIA ( Tribhuvan International Airport) One of our Airport Representative  to Pick you up and transfer to the Hotel. Brief to you for the trip and rest and explore the vibrant streets of Kathmandu and surrounding.

Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by Tourist bus (approximately 6-8 hours by bus, if you would like to go Pokhara by flight would be extra cost. Arrive Pokhara and check in to your hotel. Rest or explore beautiful lakeside city a gateway to the Annapurna region trek, and prepare for the trek.

After your drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, your trek begin to Tikhedhunga. Trek to Tikhedhunga, passing through picturesque villages and lush forests, and terrace farming land. Overnight stay in Tikhedhunga.

Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani. Ascend through rhododendron forests and stone stair (Steps). Reach Ghorepani, a charming village with stunning mountain views. Overnight stay at Ghorepani.

Early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210m) to witness sunrise over the Himalayas. Enjoy panoramic views of mountains like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and deep valley view, Return to Ghorepani for breakfast  and trek to Tadapani through rhododendron forests and small settlements like deurali and banthanti. Overnight stay in Tadapani Fishtail Lodge.

Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk. Descend through forests and terraced fields. Ghandruk is a traditional Gurung village with stunning mountain vistas. Explore the village and interact with locals. Overnight stay in Ghandruk.

Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul. Descend through forests and villages to Nayapul along with Modi River bank and drive back to Pokhara. Relax and celebrate the completion of the trek in  Pokhara. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara by tourist bus, spend the day exploring Kathmandu or do some last-minute shopping. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Transfer to the airport for your onward journey or extend your stay in Nepal.

In Kathmandu wacht onze gids Tika ons op. we gaan deze vakantie de Annapurna massief beklimmen. Eerst kijken we een paar dagen rond in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur. Het maakt erg veel indruk. Tika heeft veel informatie en weet waar we de mooiste plaatsjes kunnen vinden. Dan begint de klimtocht, in een woord geweldig. Het is wel pittig om iedere dag 9 uurtjes te lopen in de bergen. Komend jaar gaan we nog eens terug naar Nepal, Tika gaan we zeker vragen om ons te begeleiden.
